Our Principles
At Humble Quality Care, our principles guide everything we do.
We are committed to person-centred care, prevention, and active listening.
We champion equality, inclusion, and the voices of those we support.
These values ensure care that is compassionate, respectful, and empowering.

Person-centred approach
We are committed to delivering truly person-centred care, where individuals are at the heart of every decision. We work in partnership with each person to ensure that their unique preferences, needs, and goals shape the support they receive. Wherever possible, individuals will lead the planning of their own care, enabling them to make informed choices and take control over how their support is delivered. By listening carefully, respecting individual values, and adapting our services to suit each person’s lifestyle, we ensure that care is not only effective, but also empowering and meaningful.

Prevent, reduce, and delay
Prevention will be a core principle of our service delivery. We are committed to proactively identifying opportunities to prevent, reduce, or delay the need for more intensive care and support. By taking an early intervention approach, we aim to promote long-term wellbeing and help individuals maintain their independence for as long as possible.

Listening to our residents
We are committed to actively listening to individuals with lived experience and ensuring their voices shape the way we deliver care. By valuing and responding to personal insights, we build meaningful relationships rooted in trust, respect, and mutual understanding. Our decision-making is guided not only by professional knowledge but also by real-world experience and evidence. We continuously reflect, adapt, and improve our services based on what truly matters to those we support—ensuring our care is relevant, responsive, and genuinely person-centred.
Equality, diversity, and inclusion
Creating an environment where everyone, regardless of their background, feels valued, respected, and included, and has equal opportunities. This includes ensuring fair treatment in hiring, training, promotion, and all other aspects of the workplace, as well as providing inclusive communication and support. We are committed to ensuring that everyone we support has equitable access to high-quality care, positive outcomes, and a dignified experience. All individuals—regardless of background, identity, or personal circumstance—will be treated with compassion, respect, and integrity. This ethos extends across all areas of our service, ensuring that the care we provide is not only person-centred but also inclusive, accessible, and empowering for all.
